HIGHLIGHTS

There was an increase in the number of deals completed in August, compared to previous months.

DEAL COMMENTARY

The largest deal in August was Mars, Incorporated acquisition of Kellanova for £279bn

SPOTLIGHT TRANSACTIONS

Other deals during July included:

• Exscientia’s merger of Recursion for £542 million.
• CK Infrastructure Holdings partial portfolio acquisition of Aviva Investors for £350 million.
• Group 1 Automotive’s acquisition of a subsidiary of Inchcape PLC for £342 million.

The smaller end of the market witnessed the following deals:

• Health Catalyst Inc’s acquisition of Lumeon Limited for £51 million.
• £21Nazara Technologies’ acquisition of Fusebox Games for  £21 million.
• Netcall’s acquisition of Govtech Holdings Limited for £13 million.
