HIGHLIGHTS

As of the publication date, 369 UK M&A deals were announced in August 2026. In addition to the most up-to-date figure at the time of publication, we also report an estimated total for the month, which includes a provision for deals completed during the month but not reported until after the report cut-off date.

DEAL COMMENTARY

The largest deal was Prologis’ acquisition of Segro for £14 billion.

SPOTLIGHT TRANSACTIONS

Other deals during August included:

• Sazerac’s acquisition of Au Vodka for £500 million.
• Nazara UK’s acquisition of Bluetile Games for £167 million.
• Arcturis Data’s acquisition of Akrivia Health for £140 million.

The smaller end of the market witnessed the following deals:

• Soho Square Capital’s acquisition of Strathberry for £100 million.
• Caledonia’s acquisition of Conquip Engineering for for £50 million.
• Vossloh’s acquisition of Cordel Group has for £29 million.
