HIGHLIGHTS

There was a fall in the number of deals completed in March, compared with previous months.

We combined data from MarktoMarket’s platform and our other sources to estimate the value of deals completed and announced in March 2024.

DEAL COMMENTARY

The largest deal in March was The Home Depot Ltd’s acquisition of SRS Distribution for £14.4 billion.

SPOTLIGHT TRANSACTIONS

Other deals during February included:

• Pollen Street Capital’s acquisition of Mattiali Woods PLC for £432 million.
• Aviva PLC’s acquisition of Probitas, for £242 million.
• Halma’s acquisition of Rovers Medical Devices for €85 million

The smaller end of the market witnessed the following deals:

• Kitwave Group PLC’s acquisition of Total Foodservice Solutions for £21 million.
• Cicor Group’s acquisition of three business units from IT Electronics PLC for £20.8 million.
