A Fast-Paced Beginning for MarktoMarket in 2025
MarktoMarket has kicked-off 2025 with several events around the UK and Ireland as we seek to solidify our position as the pre-eminent provider of financial data to the SME and Lower Mid-Market.
15th January – Nottingham dinner
The team spent an evening at Cleaver & Wake in Nottingham with guests from the East Midlands’ thriving corporate finance community, including Breeze Corporate Finance, PKF Smith Cooper, Lee Business Advisory and Coadax, as well as wealth managers Mattioli Woods.
16th January – London dinner
The next stop was L’Escargot in Soho for dinner with a mixture of M&A advisory, private equity and other deal professionals, including Pelican Capital, Citi Private Markets, Kent Finance, Blackdown Partners, PKF Littlejohn, Asset Match, Ama Capital, Imbiba, Carntyne, CFGI and RM2.
11th and 12th February – Belfast and Dublin dinners
The team held back-to-back events in Belfast and Dublin to show case our Republic of Ireland data and host advisers and investors from both cities. 25thFebruary – Birmingham Breakfast
MarktoMarket’s first Breakfast Seminar of the year was held at the Hotel du Vin in Birmingham. An audience of 50 advisers and investors from the Midlands gathered to listen to CEO Doug Lawson talk about valuation multiples and corporate finance activity in the region and to hear from Scott Peters, our guest speaker from Quantuma. Scott shared his views on private equity activity, trade buyer sentiment, business valuations and his predictions for 2025.
26th February – London Dinner
We returned to London for an evening with a collection of Corporate Development / Inhouse M&A, Family Office, Private Equity, Corporate Finance and Debt Advisory customers. The guest list included SO Holdings, Darwin Alternative, Lava Advisory, Connection Capital, Rockpool, Saffery Champness, Altenburg Advisory, Mentmore Capital Partners, SADITA, RPG Crouch Chapman Corporate Finance, JRJ, Hardman & Co, Seaya Andromeda, Celnor.
