HIGHLIGHTS

March has been the strongest month for UK M&A activities in 2025.

DEAL COMMENTARY

The largest deal in April was Global Payment Inc.’s acquisition of Worldpay Holdco, LLC for £18.3bn.

SPOTLIGHT TRANSACTIONS

Other deals during April included:

• Greencore’s acquisition of Bakkavor for £1.2 billion.
• I Squared Capital’s acquisition of Mobico Group’s school bus division for £457 million.
• Atlas Holdings’ acquisition of De La Rue PLC for £263 million.

The smaller end of the market witnessed the following deals:

• ZOZO’s acquisition of Lyst for £121 million.
• bd-capital’s acquisition of Science in Sport for £82.3 million.
• Vestum’s acquisition of Nortech for £22 million.
