HIGHLIGHTS

There was a fall in the number of deals completed in June, compared with previous months.

We combined data from MarktoMarket’s platform and our other sources to estimate the value of deals completed and announced in June 2024.

DEAL COMMENTARY

The largest deal in June was Apollo Global Management, Inc’s acquisition of Grange Newco LLC for £17.6bn

SPOTLIGHT TRANSACTIONS

Other deals during June included:

• Saint-Gobain’s acquisition of Fosroc for $1.025 billion
• TotalEnergies’ acquisition of the West Burton B gas-fired power plant from EIG for £450 million
• Robinhood Market’s acquisition of Bitstamp for $200 million

The smaller end of the market witnessed the following deals:

• Clarion Partners’ acquisition of a logistics facility in Haydock for £50.8 million
• PPCH’s acquisition of Pagefield Communications for £16 million
